River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services. Our mission is to serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve.

We are seeking a part-time Licensed Social Worker to join our team. Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in a school in Allegheny County, for the 2026-2027 school year with the opportunity to grow our River Mental Health program in the outpatient setting, building a caseload in outpatient therapy services. 

The position would begin at 18 hours/week and increase as the outpatient therapy caseload grows. 

As a member of the school team, you will work with school staff and administration, as well as families, for the betterment of each student. As a member of our outpatient service providers, you will work alongside our therapy team (OT, PT, and SLP providers), as well as work with our Front Office staff and adminstration for scheduling and caseload management.

What You Will Do:

• provide daily therapy services (individual and group sessions) to students identified as requiring school-based social work services

• provide consultation to staff on social work topics for the betterment of each student

• participate in district in-services and attend trainings required by the position for the safety and well-being of all

• follow the school district’s daily and yearly calendar for times of employment

• complete daily documentation

• maintain communication with staff and families

• regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success

• maintain a weekly schedule

• promote a safe and welcoming environment for students

• complete behavioral health evaluations and treatment for clients in the outpatient setting and maintain daily documentation requirements

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant school-based experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Licensed Social Work credential in the state of Pennsylvania

• School Certification in Social Work in Pennsylvania

• excellent communication skills

• professional and positive work ethic

• desire to work in a school-based setting

• passion for helping students succeed in their academic goals by promoting wellness and positive mental health

• Clearances are required
